Returns & Exchange Policy

We want you to be absolutely happy with your order! As a small business, we leverage a model where each item is made to order, we've outlined our specific return and exchange procedures below. By placing an order with us, you agree to this policy.

PLEASE NOTE:
All returns are issued as store credit only. We do not issue refunds to the original payment method. Store credit never expires.

Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

Items Eligible for Return

  • New, unused, unwashed items

  • Items in their original packaging with all tags attached (if applicable)

  • Returns and exchanges must be initiated within 14 days of the delivery date
  • Defective or damaged items: If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing error, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or issue a full refund to your original payment method. We may require photo evidence to evaluate the issue and will cover the cost of return shipping for defective items. 

Items NOT Eligible for Return

  • Worn or washed items

  • Hair accessories or hair-related products

  • Discounted, sale, or final-sale items

  • Gift cards

  • We cannot accept any returns started after 14 days from the delivery date. Please check your delivery confirmation to ensure you’re within the eligible window.

Items NOT Eligible for Return

  • Store credit only: For eligible returns, we gladly issue store credit for the cost of the item(s). We do not provide refunds to the original payment method for discretionary returns (e.g., wrong size, change of mind).

    • Store credit never expires. 

  • Customer Responsibility: We cannot accept any returns started after 14 days from the delivery date. Please check your delivery confirmation to ensure you’re within the eligible window.
    • Original shipping fees are non-refundable. 

How to Start a Return

As we are still establishing our processes, all returns are currently handled via email. This allows us to provide personal attention and support to each customer.

  1. Email us: To start a return or exchange, please email us at sales@misswestmotherhood.com.

  2. Include details: In your email, please include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return

  3. Receive instructions: Once your request is approved, you will receive an email with shipping instructions and the return address.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to a shipping error on our end.

Important Notes on Returns

  • Timely Shipping: Once your return is approved, it must be shipped back within 5 calendar days. If we receive the return after this timeframe or if the item shows any signs of wear (perfume, detergent, smoke, etc.), we will not be able to accept it. In this case, you will be responsible for arranging return shipping back to you.

  • Processing Time: Please allow 3–5 business days for us to process your return once we receive it.
  • Store Credit: After processing, you will receive an email with your store credit code for the returned item(s).

Exchange Policy

  • Same Item Exchange: We offer exchanges for the same item only (e.g., a different size or color).
  • Other Items: If you’d like a different design or product, please submit a return for store credit and place a new order using the credit.

  • Exchange Process: Exchanges are processed once the original item is returned and inspected. Please allow 3–5 business days for your new item to ship.
  • Customer Responsibility: Return shipping for exchanges is paid for by the customer unless we made an error with your original order.

How to Start an Exchange

  1. Visit our Exchange Portal

  2. Enter your order number and contact information

  3. Select the item(s) you want to exchange and submit your request

  4. Once approved, you’ll receive instructions and a new exchange order number

Return shipping for exchanges is also paid by the customer unless we made an error with your original order.

IMPORTANT:
Approved exchanges must be shipped back within 5 calendar days. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and free from scents.
If an item is sent back late or arrives in unacceptable condition, the exchange will be cancelled and the customer must pay for return shipping.

Exchange orders are processed once the original item is returned and inspected. Please allow 3–5 business days for your new item to ship.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged, please reach out to us right away. We will arrange a replacement when possible. If a replacement is unavailable, store credit will be issued once the damaged item is returned.

Damaged or defective items must be reported within 14 days of delivery. After 14 days, we cannot offer replacements or credit for damaged items.
